The work Dijalog is inspired by the clash between subjective desires and objective possibilities, where an individual or group encounters questions of identity, thought, and emotion. Who am I? Am I merely a fragment of my thoughts or feelings, and can—or should—I even free myself from them?

The performance Dijalog explores the relationship between the performer and an identity channeled through feelings and thoughts, which manifest externally in the form of wearable objects or a kind of regurgitation we impose upon ourselves. These identities—that is, the roles we have willingly assumed—become limiting, and we cannot free ourselves from them. The approximately fifteen-minute performance includes original music by Anja Mergeduš, performers, movement, and hand-sewn wearable objects.
